Youth Ski League Coach - Caroline has been coaching the Youth Ski League program at Quarry Road since 2007. Caroline previously helped coach the junior ski program in Farmington. She has been the chair of the New England Bill Koch Festival 4 different times! In addition to ski coaching, Caroline coaches tennis, is an avid mountain biker, and loves being outside!

Youth Ski Program- Koren Coughlin is an assistant coach with the Quarry Road Ski Club. In addition to Nordic skiing, Koren enjoys running, cycling, and walking her dog, Finley. She shares her passion for education with her students at Messalonskee Middle School where she teaches 6th grade Social Studies and also coaches track. Koren is very excited for the upcoming season and looks forward to coaching the new and returning members of the team!

Arnout serves as co-head coach for the Middle School Nordic Team. Hailing from the Netherlands, he grew up playing soccer before discovering a love for XC skiing through his daughters, Amelie and Sofie. An active coach with both the WYSA rec soccer program and the Quarry Road Youth Program, Arnout is also a Professor of History at Colby College specializing in Southeast Asian and World History. He looks forward to coaching his former Youth Program skiers now on the Middle School Team.

Mike is the co-head coach for the Middle School Nordic Team.  Mike raced on the Maine high school circuit and at Dartmouth.  Mike spent his junior year in high school as an exchange student near Oslo, Norway, where he trained with the local junior and senior racing club.  After coaching a Maine Middle School ski team in his first year after college, Mike returns to coaching to spend time with his son Sean, a QRSC veteran, and the rest of the team.  Mike is excited to spend more time outside this year, and excited to work with team members and their parents!

High School Team Coach - Jeff is the newest QRSC coach. Jeff graduated Colby College in 2016. He was a member of the nordic ski and outdoor track teams. After graduating Jeff found himself on a wax bench, and has coached for Colby, Harvard, Craftsbury Nordic Ski Club, and Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks. Jeff is USSA L100 certified coach. When he’s not skiing, Jeff enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and exploring new trails.

Patrick helps coach the High School and Middle School Team. He has been coaching since the Central Maine Ski Club days before Quarry Road existed, back when we practiced on the North Street fields (2006). Patrick skied in college for UVM, then Dartmouth, then skied for Alpina Racing Team for 2 years. Patrick still enjoys jumping into races from time to time.
